Fields of Study: The scholarship is provided to learn any of the courses offered by the NUI Galway in Ireland.

Level (Degree): This scholarship is for pursuing full time taught master’s degree level.

Target Applicants: The students of Europe (Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia (Slovak Republic), Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican City) can apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility/Requirements: In order to be eligible for the award of a scholarship, students must:
•Be accepted onto a Full time Taught Masters programme for the academic year 2013/2014, and;
•Have obtained a first class honors primary degree (Level 8) or equivalent.

How to Apply: The mode of applying is online. Applications must be made using the online form Online Scholarship Application. Applicants are required to have received and accepted an offer on a Full time Taught Postgraduate. Masters programme prior to completing the online application form and must also submit evidence of eligibility (i.e. final transcript of primary degree) in accordance with the eligibility criteria of this Scheme by uploading electronic copies of the relevant documents to their application on the Postgraduate Application Center (PAC).

Title of Programme: Asia Exchange Scholarships for International Students, 2013

Host/Provider: Asia Exchange

Fields of Study: The scholarship is provided to learn any of the available courses at Asian partner universities.

Level (Degree): This scholarship is for pursuing study abroad program in one of Asian partner universities for one semester.

Target Applicants: The Global Health Fellowship Program is one-year clinical research training program for pre- and postdoctoral candidates at one of affiliated international training sites.

Eligibility/Requirements: Asia Exchange scholarships are awarded twice a year for students from our target countries. The target countries at the moment are Austria, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and USA. Study abroad programs represented by Asia Exchange are also meant for students who are not currently enrolled at an institution of higher education. AE study programs are open to anyone, who is at least 18 years old and has completed high school or similar. (The only exception is a Kasetsart University in Bangkok, which requires students to be enrolled at an institution of higher education at the time of the exchange.)

How to Apply: The mode of applying is online. A one page Statement of Purpose and a Transcript of Records are required as attachments.

Host/Provider: The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)

Fields of Study:  CIHR categorizes health research in four broad themes: Biomedical Research; Clinical Research; Health Services Research; Social, Cultural, Environmental and Population Health Research.

Course Level: Fellowships provide support for highly qualified candidates in all areas of health research at the post-PhD or post-health professional degree stages to add to their experience by engaging in health research either in Canada or abroad.

Target Applicants: Canadian and international students can apply for the fellowships.

Eligibility/Requirements: -As the Nominated Principal Applicant, you must be a trainee and meet the minimum commitment of 75% of your time (minimum of 30 hours per week) in the research fellowship role proposed in the application.
-A primary supervisor must be identified on the application. An additional supervisor may be identified.
-At the time of application, you must hold or be completing, a PhD or a regulated health professional degree. You must expect to complete all of the requirements of your doctoral or Health Professional degree by the latest possible date on which you can take up your award (see Effective Dates). To determine if a particular health profession is eligible, please consult the list of Eligible Health Professions.
-Candidates who have obtained a doctorate degree (course-based or research-based) more than three years prior to the competition deadline are not eligible (Exceptionally, for this competition, candidate eligibility will be calculated in date of October 1, 2013). Interruptions, delays or post-degree clinical training in your post-PhD cumulative experience may be taken into account in determining eligibility if detailed information on the interruption, including specific dates, is provided. Valid interruptions include child rearing, illness, or health-related family responsibilities or, for health professionals only, engagement in post-degree non-research related clinical training (residency, etc.) and for up to 2 years only. CIHR uses the date of degree completion to determine applicant eligibility. This is the date on which all requirements of your degree have been met, including successful defense and submission of the corrected copy of your thesis.
-The program is open to both Canadians and citizens of other countries.
-These awards are normally held at Canadian institutions. However, Canadian citizens and permanent residents are eligible to hold their awards outside Canada. Candidates, who are neither Canadian citizens nor permanent residents of Canada, are eligible for awards to be held in Canada only.
-A recipient of a Doctoral Award with a health professional degree may apply for the Fellowship funding opportunity no earlier than during the last year of their award.
-Individuals eligible to apply to the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships program or the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program may also submit an application to the CIHR Fellowship programs

Subsea Engineering Scholarship you must receive and then firmly accept an unconditional offer of a place on the MSc in Subsea Engineering at the University of Aberdeen.  Those who are awaiting degree results and therefore hold a conditional offer of a place can also be considered and will be asked to provide a copy of their degree certificate before the award is confirmed. Only applicants domiciled in the UK and classified as paying Home Fees OR applicants normally domiciled in the UK but temporarily living outside the UK and classified as paying Home Fees OR citizens of the European Union domiciled in the European Union are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Level (Degree): Fellowships are offered for pursuing postdoctoral programme.

Target Applicants: These fellowships are open to applicants from all nationalities.

Eligibility/Requirements: Nationality: VIB International Postdoc program “OMICS@vib” is open to applicants from all nationalities. Applicants should not have been carrying out research in Belgium for more than 12 months during the last 3 years before the deadline of the program on 15/9/2013. Postdocs selected for this program should be able to start their postdoc project before 1/6/2014.
-University degree: Applicants must hold a PhD degree before the start of the fellowship, but not necessary when applying.
-Publication record: Applicants must have a proven record of research accomplishments and at least one original first author publication (including joint authorship), either published or accepted in an international peer-reviewed journal with high recognition in the field.
-Age: Candidates should not have more than 5 years of postdoc experience at the moment of the deadline 15/9/2013.
-Career Break: One additional year will be taken into account for every childbirth or any other officially stated career break reason (caring for sick children or parents, additional studies…)
-Language: English is used in all VIB laboratories for oral and written scientific communication. Candidates must deliver proof of a solid English working knowledge. Adding TOEFL test results in your cv is recommended.

Eligibility/Requirements: -European student or assimilates graduated of the 1st or 2nd cycle, having been graduated for 3 years maximum, or in his/her last study year.
The applicant must follow ULg’s general admission procedure. His/her completed  application, as well as his/her application for the scholarship described above, must be received by the admission office.

How to Apply: Applications are to be submitted by post individually in English or French before 01/06/2013 or before 20/08/2013 and will include:
