Fields of Study: Scholarships are awarded to learn any of the courses offered by Grenoble INP.

Level (Degree): Scholarships are available for pursuing master degree at Grenoble INP.

Target Applicants: International students can apply for these scholarships (but students from USA, Canada, China, Singapore, Hong-Kong, Australia and New Zealand will have priority).

Eligibility/Requirements: 

-Age : 28 years maximum
-Nationality : All (but students from USA, Canada, China, Singapore, Hong-Kong, Australia and New Zealand will have priority)
-Remarks: All international Master’s programs of Grenoble Institute of Technology are eligible.
-Level: Master > Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. However, direct admission to year 2 is possible for suitably qualified students.
Postmaster > Must have completed a minimum of 5 years at university level.
-Language skills: Programs are taught in English: Non native English speakers have to add an official certification (TOEFL, TOEIC, teacher…).
a-A minimum of TOEFL 79 IBT (or equivalent) is recommended to attend to a program taught in English.
b-The program being fully in English, speaking French is not required, however we strongly recommend that you take a beginners’ class in French before coming to France so that your everyday life in France is made easier.

Fields of Study: The fellowship is awarded within CEU Departments: Public Policy, Cognitive Science, Economics, Environmental Science and Policy, Gender Studies, History (Modern and Early Modern), International Relations and European Studies, Legal Studies (Business Law, Comparative Constitutional Law and Human Rights Law), Mathematics and its applications, Medieval Studies, Nationalism Studies Program, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology and Social Anthropology. And within CEU Centers (each Center offers its research areas or topics for potential Fellows): Imperfections in Democracy, Business and Society, Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Policy, Eastern Mediterranean Studies, Ethics and Law in Biomedicine, EU Enlargement Studies, European Union Research, Integrity in Business and Government, Media and Communication Studies, Network Science, Policy Studies, Religious Studies, Cognitive Development Center, Regulatory Innovation, Open Society Archives Pasts Inc., Historical Studies.

Level (Degree): Fellowships will be offered to academics employed in higher education institutions, who wish to spend one or two semesters at CEU conducting original research that will lead to a groundbreaking publication in an international peer-reviewed journal.

Target Applicants: Fellows of Afghanistan, Angola, Benin, Bhutan, Botswana, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, China, Colombia, Congo (Brazzaville), Côte D’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Malawi, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Palestine, Peru, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Syria, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe can apply for this visiting research fellowship.

Eligibility/Requirements: 
• Applicants must be from eligible countries.
• Eligible applicants should be employed, full-time or part-time, in a teaching and/or research institution in their home country at the time of application;
• Eligible applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent and have a research record in an area that falls under one or more CEU academic unit (departments and research centers).
• Please note: those who are or who plan to be involved in projects, research, teaching, or other activities sponsored or co-sponsored by Open Society Foundations for the duration of the Research Fellowship are not eligible to participate in the program.
• Applications not meeting eligibility requirements will not be considered.

CMB Next Generation Fellowships for Chinese Students, 2014

Title of Programme: CMB Next Generation Fellowships for Chinese Students, 2014

Host/Provider:  China Medical Board

Fields of Study:  Fellowships are provided in the field of health policy and systems sciences offered by the university.

Level (Degree): The fellowships are available for pursuing the master’s degree program at a world renowned institution.

Target Applicants: The students of China can apply for the fellowships

Eligibility/Requirements: Each applicant:
-Must be a Chinese citizen, currently residing in mainland China
-Must be under 40 years of age on the final application deadline of 1 December 2013 (i.e. born  after 1 December 1973)
-Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, obtained prior to September 2014. Priority in  selection will be given to applicants with at least one year work experience or study experience beyond a bachelor’s degree. We especially encourage young faculty to apply.
-Since health policy and systems sciences work is multidisciplinary, a wide range of skills and interests will be valuable, and therefore no rigid boundaries have been fixed regarding prior fields of study and experience. While individuals with backgrounds in purely clinical medicine or medical laboratory research are encouraged to apply, they should only do so if they intend to make a professional commitment to work in areas related to health policy  and systems sciences. This fellowship opportunity is not designed to support training in  clinical medicine or laboratory research.
-Must have a valid TOEFL or IELTS test score. If applying to US schools, applicants are responsible to prepare in advance to take the GRE if required by the school.
-Should be committed to returning to China, and working in fields related to HPS in China.

-a rigorous and lengthy application to this fellowship program
-a personal essay in English
-official, valid test results for either the TOEFL or IELTS test
– official, valid test results for the GRE test, if applying to schools in the United States which require it
-3 recommendation letters ( using CMB Next Generation Fellowships Letters of Recommendation forms)
-other additional materials required by the application form (please refer to Application Part 2 for details)

Title of Programme: The German Chancellor Fellowships for Tomorrow’s Leaders in Germany, 2013/14

Host/Provider: The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation

Fields of Study: Fellowships are provided in the field of politics and public policy, law, media, business, the non-governmental sector and the arts.

Level (Degree): The Foundation offers twelve months fellowship which begins in October with a four-week introductory seminar in Bonn and Berlin.

Target Applicants: The students of Brazil, China, India, Russia and the USA can apply for the fellowships.

Eligibility/Requirements: Citizenship of the United States, the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, Brazil or India.
-Bachelor’s or comparable academic degree, completed less than twelve years prior to the starting date of the fellowship (1 October of the year following application)
-Demonstrated leadership potential ; applicants whose background are largely academic should also have gained some leadership experience beyond their own research activities
-Either English or German language skills
-A letter of motivation
– A project plan; the candidate must draw up the project plan independently and secure the support of the proposed mentor before submitting an application
– A detailed host’s statement, including a confirmation of support
-Two letters of recommendation from individuals qualified to comment on the candidate’s professional, personal, and/or academic background
